Last week, thanks to NK Band drummer extraordinaire, Adam Gust, Butch Taylor, keyboardist for the Dave Matthews Band, reached out to Nikhil Korula and asked to record one of Korula’s unreleased original songs from the vault with him which was one of the greatest experiences in Nikhil Korula’s career as a musician. Butch asked him to email him a few songs and apparently he loved them all and is looking forward t working on a few more in the future. The song Butch and Korula jammed on was an old balled called “He Said, She Said” which was never recorded or released. We are so excited from what is to come out of this whole experience, but we know if it was anything the session, then you all are in for some serious magic and ear candy. Special thanks to Adam Gust for helping to make it happen and to Butch Taylor for loving the music and wanting to collaborate. This was by far one of the coolest recording experiences and definitely one of the best songs we have released thus far, so we will keep you posted once it is missed and mastered. Stay tuned… 🙂
